Nearly gave myself a cardiac arrest trying to ride the singlespeed On-One up some hills  Beer & fags are definitely off the menu for the foreseeable future!
Speaking of which, just today I've finally come to the conclusion I'm getting to ill to cycle.
I never made it to work on Wednesday but had a visit to the Vic A&E dept instead.
It's probably just as well I'm due to go into ERI on Tuesday for a week, lets hope I don't
have a re-run of what happened last time.

The same best wishes and crossed fingers as last time for my FGM

Keep the head up mate, focus on getting fit after the op.

Remember though ye were a shite rider afore so you'll still be a mincer when ye get back into it.

Rob, youre fit and healthy with good cardiovascular from the bike and the other stuff you do.
That there is the armourt itself and i know youll be fine and recover quick. so your recovery would be good and quick.

Its they old grey beards who need to watch out for illnesses.

Cant help you with your dilemma mate but I would make sure the hub is the size you want. Local guy bought a set of wheels for his normal XC rig. They were some fancy rims, tyres and Hope Pro 4's but when it arrived he didn't realise he had bid on a 150mm rear  It was for a DH or Fatbike , one of the 'new' standards we never knew we needed.
Its a jungle out there, it makes me wonder how I keep from going under
