Got out on the road bike this morning, bliss! After all the crappy weather some blue skies and sunshine was most welcome.

Re:

Went for a wee hurl roond the usual trails in Blairadam this afternoon.
Spent as much time clearing crap off the trails, covering some of the glaur and cutting fallen stuff as I did riding.
Really didnae get very far as when I tried to ride the trail down to Triangle it's blocked by loads of blown down trees. Tried tae find a way through but it's blocked for about the first 150 metres. There's also a couple of trees down across the TT Trail about 30 metres up from Triangle.
The first trail we normally do down from top carpark that starts off the footpath from metal gate, well it's almost blocked now with the trees even lower down across ditch with logs in it. If we want to keep using that start to trail it'll be a major chainsaw job to clear it all.
And they're filling the potholes in on access road so there's a pile of broken tarmac that could be used to fill in muddy bit at start of above trail.
