And today I did......

Re:

I think we should be told, just how did you manage to get a pic of Rob dogging in the middle of winter?

Re:

After a 3 hour battle with a seized limit screw finished the '92 Explosif Pro. Bit of a parts bin special but looks ok at 30 paces and rides fine.
Shocked to find canti brakes work quite well  Or at least not badly.
Ritchey Vector saddle. Hmmm. We'll see. Much better after some tweaks.
Thumbies! My first. They work great and index better than my modern XTs. Nice to be able to trim the front mech too. Liking these.

Beer time. Hooray.

Thats nice jonthefish, enjoy your well deserved beer! Certainly detracts from thoughts of ocp with a blue rinse, thank feck

Looking at an explosif myself at the mo, fingers crossed.

Thanks to BST, I managed a wee 20 miler round some country roads this evening :-) beats my regular winter evening spin into the east of Glasgow using lit roads.

Cheers Guys. Yeh - the black is nice. It's original and has a subtle sparkle in it that doesn't show on the pics - like tiny, tiny pin-prick metalflake. Not at all bling or obvious, but nice. Plenty scabs and scrapes too. But I never understand why anybody repaints these things unless they are truly trashed, I like the patina of an old bike.
