I got the fear about K'Tree as everyone keeps saying you need good brakes and some bounce so...............

In five hours flat from frame to complete bike I rebuilt my Giant Boulder DS with Vee brakes and 14 low gears :D

Admittedly its a crap bike, not really retro but it works and has been tested on the waste ground near me.

I'm not really fit enough for this ride so with the distance, rough terrain and energy sapping full sus I'm not sure I'm looking forward to this :?

Only time will tell ;)

you'll be fine, positive mental attitude V :)
+1 Velo. And man, you were ripping it up and down GT last week, bring some of that the morn.

I'll be using the GT Zaskar which has big tyres and forks but sketchy STX canti's, two out of three contributions to control and safety are good enough for me

BTW ZZ only thing i find wrong with polishing a frame is having to re-do it just about every time it's used if you want to keep it shiny, even water dries as a stain  , every time i wash the E3 i go over it with a Brillo pad which works pretty well, the Zaskar is intended more as a commuter/user though so i just went over that once and i'm leaving it to dull naturaly

had a wee shot of the new ss.............

a right mix of old and new

and thats the breezer in the for sale section > http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/viewforum.php?f=2

Oh no that saddle arrrrgggghhhhh!!!!

Mental ss eck kind of groovy in a messed up crazy sasses way

breezer was too cheap it would seem.

Truly a big eck single speed, I'd expect nothing less than some triple clamp goodness up front :D I'm almost afraid to ask what ratio you're running

And hey hey, return of the goldie lookin' saddle

yup the golden seat returns  i don't know the gear ratio  but nobody noticed the hydro v's  it goes alright too

yeah the breezer prob was a little too cheap but i'm happy , the new owner'll be happy and it'll go to a good hame :D :D :D :D

did you get them from dyna ti heard mixed reviews on them.

I think you should paint the bike ZZ rather than polish- I don't miss the cleaning on the old killer v- do some sort of modern art number- dr s did an amazing paint job on his commuter- looked great- mix up the media's, spray paint, enamel, oil, watercolour, feathers, glitter- go to town!
