And so it begins. Bespoke build. Here. Page 9

Unbolt it at the lever, it's well easy to put back together ...just DONT pull the lever when it's not attached and be careful - it will be fine :)

Not sure what oil these run on (even though I have a set myself) but don't get any on your paintwork, it will make you swear then cry.

Do I need a new olive every time then? Watched the YouTube clips and feeling betterer.

Re:

Great colour choice matey!

Is it pearl or a solid colour?

Can't help with the build I'm afraid, all this modern stuff in unchartered waters for me

Solid Ford GT40 blue. In the sun it's beautiful.

My favourite car. Pity I'll never be able to fit in one! An original that is.

What does ARCHIE think!

Re:

Shimano use mineral oil, not harsh like dot fluid. But best to keep a good cloth and tissue handy!!!!

Looking very fine indeed :)

Well that was an interesting morning. A few tips to pass on. Once you've unscrewed the cable from the brake try not to catch the lever as you pass. I now have an oily nipple area. Neither cable needed shortening and were only just long enough. But in order to thread through the braze-ons i had to cut the end to remove the olive. Made a little holder to get the new end thingy in. Needless to say both will need bleeding. Gears and chain next. Will bleed once the bike is set up. Having trouble getting any clearance on the front disc. Again, will come back to that later.

not sure if 'thinner' rortors exists? have you got a set of thin washers? i think hope do them at 0.5mm or less maybe.... (only helpful if is IS mount caliper i think to get that lateral adjustment)
