An old Marin I once had

Frame was steel but nickel plated. In the end I felt it was too big for me so I sold / part exchanged it to buy the Torus frameset. Nice bike though.

Whilst I was picking up the new frame though I did spot one of these...

Full suspension Manitou. Still think it's a work of art

Was there an issue with these bikes then? Have to say that aesthetically, it was one of my all time favourite designs though never did get round to getting one mostly due to cost / weight.

Lovely bike that Marin. Full XTR groupset. My old time (sometime) riding buddy Damian had one. He still uses it complete with rigid forks and clips and straps. The git is still very quick! Must be the bike!
