Hi all , after some info on AMP F3 cx fork , the nylon washers part number 9 , the question is , is it just a plain washer or does it have a rubber insert in it ? Also the aluminium dome screws were to get hold of these ? apart from that happy Xmas :xmas-cool:

Ive the instructions for amp forks.
It covers the F4 blt which i have but i think it also might have some info on the others. :?

If theres nothing pop a post up in the US section of sellers thread, ask there.
There are a number of these on here and a few threads, try the search feature if you havent already :)

Hi , thanks for that , have already downloaded the instruction manual and i do understand parts over here are rare , so am looking for info on these washers ,thickness and type of material so i can make them myself ,again thanks for you help :xmas-wink:

I got an email from Biron in October stating AMP research have been acquired by another company and as a result they no longer supply any parts for bikes.
Not good news for Amp owners, and there are plenty of us.

Royboy, if you can make an F3 service kit, I'd certainly be interested.

From the Amp website:

'October 4, 2013 – Lund International Holding Company, a portfolio company of Highlander Partners, L.P., today announced it has acquired all of the operating assets of AMP Research. AMP, based in Tustin, California, is the leading provider of automatic power articulating running boards, bed steps, bed extenders and related products. Lund will continue to use the trademarked POWERSTEP™, BEDSTEP®, BEDSTEP2™ and BEDXTENDER HD™ product names included in AMP’s Innovation in Motion product lines. The current Tustin location will continue to be the primary manufacturing facility and AMP’s current workforce will join the Lund International team.'

Looks like Horst no longer has any involvement. Sad times.

That explains why I haven't had any response from Brion for over 4 weeks! Oh great.

Luckily, managed to pick up a new damper for my F2s thanks to dyna-ti's post in the ebay section! :D

OK guys , if that so , does any body have any dimensions on those nylon washers part number 9 also the O ring sizes ?, lets get some spares going ? any body up for this ? happy Xmas :xmas-wink:

AMP must have had a whole load of spares - I wonder what's happening with them. Maybe Brion will go it alone? I hope! :D

royboy2cv - I'll try and measure the plastic washers if I can find some which aren't knackered.

I've got some spares lurking around, I'll dig them out and get some drawings done, and source the parts needed.
