Altura Attack waterproof shorts

Does anyone own/use the above cycling shorts? Before shelling out £50 on a pair are they worth it and do they keep you dry? Secondly, I am a size 33 waist and typically this falls in between medium and large sizes, what size should I get (medium Endura shorts always fit well)?

I have a pair of the 3/4 length Attack shorts and think they're very good. Obviously the bottom half of your legs may get wet but everything else stays dry. I find they're a little on the large size, you're probably best off trying a pair at your LBS

In general they are good. But after long rides you can end up with a damp arse as you eventually push the water through the fabric. I don't use a mudguard so it may get around this problem. Certainly a lot better than normal shorts and definitely worth it
