Alpinestars Cro-mega LX

.....oh and dont worry about the reflectors and lights, we all use them and they may one day save you.......as i approach my 40th birthday function over form rules!....

I'm not gonna replace the handle bar afterall, but different bar ends would be helpful. I'm 6' and having something else to grab onto would be nice. I saw these on ebay:

They're $10 with $20 shipping. Sounds like an okay deal to me, and I think the purple would look excellent with color scheme of my bike. My only concern is sizing. How do I know they will fit?

As above.... 1992 Cro-Mega LX.

Nice looking original bike, I have the exact same frame that I have just taken to the painters to be powder coated black, and another 1991 Al-Mega that I have just built up.

The good thing about this site is all the wealth of information and the fact that there is usually someone else with the same bike that can answer any questions and offer good sound advice.

Nice cro-mega, its a 1992 model and like you say very different to anything else out there. I did some research on the brand recently, you might find it of use:

The MS Racing and alpinestars story

That's exactly what I was looking for. Coincidentally, the two guys who created the Alpinestars USA brand are from San Luis Obispo, California. That's where I'm going to school right now. Really interesting history on these bikes. The more I know about them the more I like :)

Onza Bar Ends!

Finally got those Onza bar ends in the mail. Just slapped them on and wanted to show everyone!

I'm gonna get some tape to wrap my handle bars, but for now I cut the rubber grips to make room for the bar ends. Lemme know whatcha think :p

I had exactly the same frame 18 years ago - nice to see a 'youngster' appreciating such a classic, though I'm more envious of your weather right now :)

My buddy and I just went on the trails near my house today. It was an absolute blast. The power with this bike is fantastic. I feel proud when I ride this bike around :)

Glad I can represent with a bike almost as old as I am.
