no, its just homemade decals and paintbrust combination

I had to remove the seatpost out of the tube, it was stuck... That's why the original colour looks a little destroyed :mrgreen:

Hi,this is my Alpinestar XCROSS lx which I brought it from a friend of mine.I was wondering after seeing some of the build ups that most of you guys not using the original fork,where in this bike itself is fitted with a 26” fork that is fitted an adapter to rise up the brake levers so it can fit a 700C.The tires i use is a panaracer gravel king 700x35 which max up for the fork im using.Am asking any of you experience guys out there if i can change the headset to a 1 1/8 and fit in a touring fork i can find out there for a 700c wheels and can have a clearance up to x 40 tires??I read the specs for this frame that it can go up to 700 x 40 tires.

Hi,is the headset attach to your Alpinestar frame is a 1 1/8 headset?

Hi,

Never find any thread about this bike before, and just have a chance to made one.

The frame is aluminum EASTON 7000 series tubing, 19" size, 700cx35 tyre.
Cant wait the DX groupset to complete, so i use the XT from my another bike.
Still searching for the Alpinestar 700c fork.

Hey andy ,i got this bike from a friend who build it and it also doesn’t come with the original fork..last time he told me that this frame fits a 1 1/4 steerer tube.Ive been wanting to change the fork to a 1 1/8 and just want some answers to clear things up,can i change a normal 1 1/8 headset and fit in a 1 1/8 fork..currently with this fork i can fit in a 700cx35 tires but im getting a fork that can clear up to 40mm tires cause from the specs of this frame it can go up to 40mm tires.please advise thanks

To use a 1 1/8" fork in a 1 1/4" headtube I think you would either need some sort of insert to allow a 1 1/8" headset or you need a reducer headset that takes the size down fro 1 1/4 to 1 1/8.
