I have these up for grabs (Pics on request).

Alpine stars forks - £25 posted
Black, a few chips and scratches here and there - threaded steerer, though this is unthreaded, then threaded, then unthreaded again, so I assume that this is some sort of ahead stem compatible, threaded headset steerer?

Shimano deore XT 1 1/4 headset - £30
Comes with everything you need, including the crown race. I am not 100% sure if all of the bearings are there (anyone know how many there should be?), but there are at least 19/20 in each cup. Black, a few marks, but nothing huge or unsightly.

Buy both for £50.

If my prices are out or you want to make an offer, just let me know.

Please post interest in the thread, then pm to keep it open and fair.

Happy to post overseas for additional cost.

Pics of the headset - I think my description was unfair above - it is a very clean headset with very few marks, the worst of which are some marks from fitting/removing the lock nut (see third pic). There are 39 bearings in total, which suggests that there may be one missing or one extra? All the races are very clean with no pitting, and even the plastic crown race ring is pincluded and undamaged - Bargain!

Pics of the alpine stars forks - they are the easton vari-light versions (7000 series program), not the cro-mo ones. Size wise, the steerer is 185mm long, with the threaded part starting at just shy of 95mm and ending at 130mm. Centre of crown to centre of drop-out is approximately 390mm. They are surprisingly light for forks that look so beefy. Pics make the forks more scratched than they are, but they do have scratched and chips, but no dents, just so you know.

Steerer of fork is 1 1/4 and matches the headset. I'd do the forks and headset for £50 posted.

Just so you know........ the alpinestars fork takes somewhere between a 1-1/8 - 1-1/4 aheadstem...... just to be awkward. but if you cut off the threadless bit it will take a 1" quill
