Revised thread to clear, as I need the space that it is now taking up:

Forks: £20 posted (swapped)
Frame: £ postage/free to anyone who can collect - Karma'd/postage
Bars (Black Alpine Stars lite): £10 posted - sold
Alpine Stars Stem (Ti look/finish): £10 posted - sold
DX front mech (suits tabbed frames): £10 posted - sold
Wheeler seatpost (silver, with scratches below certain point came with the frame): £10 posted - karma'd with frame

Obviously if my prices are way out, or you want to make an offer, let me know.

The frame has a bit of seat tube damage, looks worse than it is when there is no post in the tube, but I want to be open about the fact that it is there. I posted here for some advice on repairs, and was told a (TIG) welder should be able to sort this for about a tenner, though I've not looked into it in too much detail as I'm too gutted it is too big for me.

Pics below - frame is in pretty good nic considering its age, with the usual chips you'd expect, though nothing major that I have seen since opening the box and putting it together.

Any questions, just ask, I'll get back to you with answers as soon as I'm able.

Ian

If he's over 6 feet tall, then he'd be ideal. I'm 6 foot and it is too big for me sadly. Mikee sent some pics of his Alpine Stars collection over and I was getting all excited about getting a yellow and white paint job, then I put some wheels on it and the stand-over height was a little to close to my soft areas for my liking (not that I ride much at the moment with a dodgy medial ligament, but I want to get back on a bike at some point and was hoping to put together a nice rigid bike as I don't have one in the collection).

Hi Mark, I'll let you know. As I said, I'd rather not be left with the frame all lonely, naked without parts or forks to keep it company.

No worries Ian, totally understand your position. But do get in touch if you do wish to split.

Cheers Mark
