Dropped something I flogged on ebay off and had to go up pebble hill to get there, as usual I had to stop at the top and have a rest.
On the way down I had to slow down cos of the slow car in front!

I usually come down tracks through the old quarry, have seen 33mph on one of them.

not bad not bad, my best is 49,7 on my mtb running 48 to 11, 48 recently on the road bike, 52 to 12. Was going to race down countisbury hill into lynmouth but the cars slowed us right down frrom 45 to 25, rims were hot at the bottom!

My fastest is around 50pmh give or take a mile or two, and it was down a freeway hill on a MTB (and believe me, I had to pedal my a$$ off).

So it was only slow, I will try and do better tomorrow.
My only problem with this is I have to pedal up the
hills first.

When I was young I never seemed to be able to go above 23mph even downhill it was like a maximum speed for my bike! (heavy Raleigh with steel rims).

No 40's not slow, but the difference between 40 & 50 is bloody scary!

I did 52.6mph going the other way back towards Porlock a few years ago.
