Intersting build thread. I think the overall result is very impressive.
I remember drilling parts of my bike BITD as you have done, never had any issues with any of it.

What's next then??

just seen your botm entry so thought i'd have a read through. pleased i did.

love the colour code detail on the "k"'s

love the drilling and polighing - i dare say you could make money out of that.

love the filling in of the top tube flare too - prefer it to the original.

paint looks goon on screen but in the flesh i can understand it often doesn't look as good. but still, a great job.

you must be very proud.

just a thought, have you considered tying the shifters and levers into the back end with some choice drilling and polishing?

That's what I was thinking too - it'll be a bugger to clean.....

Updated a bit after I stripped this down for some bits I needed off it.

Mainly new wheels and tyres.

The bike has done allright, but a few scuffs and chips appearing.

Yeah, I'm not holding out much hope for the tyres. Never had white ones before, and these were real cheap, so just got them for a change.

also like the "weld repairs" decals..instead of "Race light"...gil adapted some for me in the past
