Alloy bonded frame road bike

Hello,

After a alloy bonded frame road bike,

Size 56

would like a complete bike if possible,

I always remember watching my dad race his vitus 979 and has always fancied my own!

Im not fused if it got gears or set up for SS, i can ride either!

Cheaper the better ,

Can someone help out this fan of retro rides, would like to race it in the Royal Air Force champs this year!

I'm working on it! I may be able to get hold of a white 57cm Vitus 979 with an almost complete 105 (midnight blue) groupset...

Alloy/carbon bonded Look frameset for £80, but it is a 58cm...

Ok il have a think on that!

How tall are you? im dead on 6ft with a 32/34 leg, so might be able to do it at a push!

Need to work out what im aload to spend!

The frame belongs to an old clubmate of mine. He 6'2", but always rode it with a 120mm stem and quite a bit of seat post on show.
