Alejandro's (Klein) Adroit 1992 Green Gator Target sub < 7Kg

Today received, original NOS Tinker Juarez 1992 shifters.

The Campagnolo ones (I like better Italia than Japan sorry, jiji, I'm from EU)

By looking at 1992 catalogue, see attached pic, the shifters of the Campagnolo Record OR brand (OR = O.R. = Off Road) where branded as "Icarus"

Re:

Que bueno amigo!
esta bicicleta será la Puta madre!

The Campagnolo ones (I like better Italia than Japan sorry, jiji, I'm from EU) -- So why the Shimano parts?

I'm sure weight could be saved here:
0.027 gr --- Crank fixing bolts: Shimano** -- Use SRP alloy or titanium
0.207 gr --- Cassette: Shimano XTR CS M950 (11-30)** -- Use titanium cassette: Tioga/Action Tec/Boone or aluminium: Real
0.317 gr --- Chain: Shimano IG70 (106)** -- Use full titanium chain.

It will be uber light but modern parts will ruin the looks (in my opinion). :(

So glad you bought the DDP, it was killing me seeing it every day. :)

That's one sweet looking Klein.

Love Klein's,the durethane paint is to die for!

I only have one Klein left now, later type, miss my old school attitude!!!

Im jealous, you appear to have $$$ to be able to buy whatever you please, means that this builds has the potential to be awesome.
Will be watching with interest.

Good job my friend. Well done

My thoughts too - unlimited budget and a goal in mind - this is what makes it all the more interesting and enjoyable

I’m not keen on the look to be honest - as it’s subjective - but no doubt this will be a killer machine

But going for the best of the best, I think a mix (hybrid) is the best, so having the retro components, with lighest setup

A upcoming used DD (no NOS, used) I'm fighting for me to be able to get as well

PD: I love the tinker shifters, but I must confess that they are super hard to use / move the dials
