Adjusted beyond reasonable doubt 🦽

When you were really looking forward to a bike ride and refuse to let a too-short valve scupper plans. 💪

Probably something like this. People can really fixated on something, and make bad decisions without thinking through the consequences. Possibly an element of sunk cost fallacy, I took a little bit off and it didn't quite work, so I took a bit more off...and so on.

Listened to a Peter Attia podcast recently where he said as a teenager he was really into working out - and did it multiple times a day. Once he got home to find the family home's door locked, and it was time for his workout. He smashed a window to get into the house and do the workout.

Friend of mine had a puncture, struggled to fix it - ended up destroying the entire wheel in his frustration.
