It's done. Had to take it to the LBS for a few things, mainly chasing threads etc. But all sorted now and ready for use.
DX cranks, LX front mech as had problems with the DX, XT M737 rear mech (pinch bolt lost on the DX mech I bought – who takes them off?), DX brakes as bought a duff set of maguras I sent back.
Long term plans – maguras of any description when funds allow. Maybe a nicer seatpost as this is quite scratched. And decals when I can be bothered. Think it looks rather nice.
Oh, and I need to change the rear tyre asap as this one is completely worn.
Thanks for people who helped with bits or stupid questions. Gravymonster for collecting it for me and delivering, THM for the seatpost, drystonepaul for his advice on various sizes etc.
