A stunner

Better maneuverability, easier to transport in a car & on a train, improved visibility because that pesky front wheel is not in your line of sight, much more responsive handling.
All the benefits and not a single draw back. There's no surprise that this design is seen on a "Team Pro" model.

I'm pretty sure there's benefits in mounting the brakes on the inside of the fork too in terms of stresses on the frameset, but I'm not technical enough to comment on that.
 
There's a suprising number of bikes with the forks on backwards. I remember taking a trip to one of the inner hebrides and pointing out to the cafe owner that her daughters forks were back to front. They'd been like it for 3 years - ever since it had been taken out of the box...
