A Haldon hill exeter ride 12th june.

Thinking that my hybrid would not be upto much cop around the track (i.e. the wheels may be a bit fragile and the brakes a bit crap?)

Trying to work out if I can use MTB disc wheels on my 700cc hybrid Scott Sportster P3 (2008 model) for this event. (Borrowed from cyfa).

My frame has disc tabs back and front, and I reckon enough space for for the wheels physically. My concern I think is whether the reduction in height would make my cranks/pedals ground out?

...do you still remember how to ride a bike?

LOL!

I'm sure it will all come back to me once out on the trails.... A pro like me never forgets....
After all, as they say... it's just like riding a bike!!!

Thinking about it still. Really depends if my wife is gonna be working or not so I wouldn't want to pin any hopes on me as such.

lets hope the weather holds out for the ride next sunday, I will also bring some bits and bobs and some frames along to tempt some people from the hard earned cash. ;) ;)
