Been running around on my '99 Clockwork since new with far more focus on the riding than maintenance and yet it's taken a mere 22 years to develop some lateral play in the rear hub.
Stripping it down tomorrow and won't be surprised if I've obliterated the bearings, cones or even the hubs. Hoping it's the bearings at worst and I can get some new balls from LBS. If it's the hubs I'm in for some wheel building. Have found myself wondering what cones these hubs are using, should I need those too. Can't find any info anywhere, although hopeful this is the site I've been looking for.
Grateful if anyone could shed some light on whether these are some long defunct Ritchey cones, or whether I can simply swap in a standard, e.g. Shimano cone if needed?
Thanks all
