Mike, if you'r gonna sand it just keep going 'til your through the top coat. then get you mate to put a clear coat on the bare carbon, would look fab!
If you want a little inspiration, check out Bobber and how he made his cannondale raven go from black to naked black, it's awesome!

Hi Mike,

Nice idea, that 'Dale looks fantastic doesn't it !
It wouldn't work out so well on mine however, there's a couple ofplaces where I've had to use filler on the frame for one. There is also a completely different look to the tubes. I went through the back of the seatpost as well as the top tube. The carbon weave is very fine, unlike the frame in the link.
Also there's an alloy part where the front mech clamps on.
Feeling more positive than earlier, just need to take my time and get it sorted out for the paintshop.
