It probably wont ever win BOTM, but I always had a special place in my heart for Homegrowns, having raced one for two seasons.
No big story here, found this frame frozen beneath a gutter in a friend's back yard and paid him $5 for it. A sandblast here, a derailleur hanger there, and I've got a new project. Paint is a rattlecan job, not my finest work, but it'll do. Parts spec is a corcopia of retro stuff I had laying around in the garage. The 1996 Schwinn Homegrown:
