Just picked frame up from powder coaters
Used hi tech in rainford near st helens
Great job media blast, pre-treat and powder coat for £40
Non standard colour but i like it, teaser pic as i want to keep it wrapped until i am up to mock up

Saddle and seatpost combo
Was looking for a brown spoon but an all black one came up locally......stealthy

Ah, I have a madison flux (same thing) seat in brown, could have swapped for a black as brown isnt going with anything I have at present!

I know you want to keep it safe but check the frame over carefully if I were you before wrapping it up for a while. Doubt if there is any issues on the frame they will sort them a month or so down the line.

Full inspection pre bubble wrap looked fine, everything properly masked off and all in all a spot on job for the money
Never seen an all black spoon before and am now quite taken with it
Going to try and get bottom bracket and headset on/ in tomorrow so i can move things on

Still going for a budget build of salvaged bits off old bike and managed to get some nice bits karma'd and snagged a few ebay bargains

A few hours tinkering and friendly help from forum member just jacques (huge thanks) sees the bike nearly there. Issue with wrong front mech and v-brake noodles but a lot closer!

Some progress nearly there
Went for light grey colour decals which look great (look whiter on the pics) not period correct but i like them
A few bits to finish off but happy with how it's coming together
