95 Kona Kilauea build

Picked this up recently as a bit of a parts mess. So was all stripped to a frame




Intention was to use it for knocking around on but also make sure it’s a nice looking build at the same time. Biggest importance will be given to having multiple hand positions for those long century rides to the shops whilst keeping a close eye on approaching traffic

Quite happy with the progress so far , just need to work out how to route the brake cables to the positions and needs a few bells/mirrors but it’s getting there.

It will be an ongoing project taking inspiration from many places. I may swap the frame out to something less fancy as I don’t want those strava junkies knowing I ride a Kilauea - need to keep it a sleeper build for when I’m overtaking them
