'94 Kona Kilauea - respray 5th Nov

That respray colour and decals are stunning. My '96 Kilauea is going to be re-sprayed asap, probably after Christmas. Can I ask where you got the respary done seeing as you used Argos for the braze on.

Can I ask if the decals are applied once the whole paint process is applied, or is there a laquer applied after the decals?

Seeing these old frames (94 onwards) with a new coat of paint really highlights how timeless the evolved original Joe Murray frame design is

I was able to spray the frame myself as I have a spray area at work. As I used a solid colour I didn't bother with laquer. I'm sure people will put good arguments for having the decals both on top or under a layer of laquer. I've always put them on top but that's just my preference.

looks lovely fella. '94 was a great vintage for kona. i like the yellow grips... which is odd, as i don't often like yellow on bikes.

Wicked colour...going to get my Charge Duster powder coated in that colourway, goes great with the yellow.

Any idea of the pantone code?
