Newer, much lighter, wider= Better!
plan was to buy a ritchey wcs carbon stem to match the bars, and that would of brought the combo down to 285grams, ish. but i gave up looking and opted for a thomson elite x4 instead
Cant wait to get these on the bike, i got some new brakes coming as well

This is my favourite setup so far... i upgraded to avid single digit 7's v brakes because they had better reviews than xtr, were lighter and from what i could tell be more compatible with the titanium brake boosters i had, i am using them with shimano xt m739 levers. i also changed the fork to a 2003 fox float and with the new bars and stem the bike is a lot more responsive than before. i think its a better looking bike now as well

What parts do you need to finish it? I have these for sale atm
-GT flat handlebars
-Syncros riser handlebars
-Kore stem
-XTR m900 cantilever brake set (complete with original straddles)
-XT m730 brake levers for cantilevers
-Rockshox mag21 fork
all cheap seeing as you're a fellow zasqua rider

There cant be many zaskars around in this colour, apart from mine ive only seen two others on retrobike (yours would be the third)
