this week my daily search for bike related stuff was rewarded with a stumpjumper for only 30 euro's. The woman I bought it from almost threw it away. Luckily she had owned it for 20 years and has travelled with it trough Morocco and India. It had some sentimal value. After I told that I'm going to restore it she offered to buy the bike back after it is finished.
The only original part left was the headset but the frame and fork were in nice condition. I stripped the bike, cleaned and polished it and the paint came out really nice. Except the wheelset, headset and bottom bracket I replaced everything with parts I had lying around. Still need to do some adjustments but this is it for now, hope you like it.
