91 DB Apex

I saw this a week ago on local CL and thought, what do I need a DB for? After seeing it a few times still for sale I decided to have a look, was less than an hour away. When the guy took it off of his bike rack, I saw how clean the bike was and unmolested from when it was sold. Had to have it at $100 even if just for the parts, it's that nice. I have not cleaned it and is as I bought it so it will look almost showroom when done. The Smoke tires, I think, are original as well. Yes, front and rear are Smokes and still supple so staying on the bike unless I move them to my Hurricane. Complete Deore build with Avenir post, bars and post clamp QR. Gold font T-Bone is cool too. I'll post some pics after I clean and polish the bike. How cool are the soldered brake cable ends? Derailleurs are crimped tho.

Gotta love these bikes that are just so lightly used, stored well for donkeys years and then come up mint after a bit of love and attention. Score!

Cleaned the frame without disassembly, too good of shape to tear it down. Waxed n polished the whole bike. Scrubbed the tires and applied Tire Wet to bring them back to softer than what they were. I think this is all this one is getting, it looks almost showroom. Have the chainrings to finish but that's minor.

Beautiful find! Although, I can't figure out why the Avenir logo is upside down on the seatpost - usually it's running the opposite direction.

That is odd, other side is correct. This side must have been printed on a Friday.
