90s (?) Cannondale frame - identification needed!

Retro Newbie
Hi,
I got this old Cannondale frame from my uncle and would love to know what model/year it is..
it came with shimano cranks, and some deore XT shifters, don't know if that aids the diagnosis..
I've looked through some old catalogues, and my best guess would be a 1992 m800, but it doesn't seem to have the same rear brake setup: the seat stay brace looks different on my model than the m800 from 1992, and the chain stays seem more shaped and oversized on mine too...
it also doesn't help that where the model number decals are usually stuck, it just says 'DALE' - something i haven't been able to find in pictures online either...
I've been trying to find brake bosses for the rear brakes (to fit some V-brakes) but frame seems to have a funny sized thread (10mm didn't fit). does anyone know what size i should get and where to find them?

Another thing is the forks, picked them up for a song from the backroom of my bikeshop, but am desperate to find some V-brake mounts for them. They're RC36 EVOs from 1998. anyone know where i can get some?

Looks like a really nice frame. V brake mounts I bet you could put a wanted ad in the "wanted" forum and someone would have some for you. That bike should build into a nice light hardtail. Old School Cannondales have such fat welds and they ground them down to look smooth, some good craftsmanship on that bike.

If you're interested in knowing the month and year of production look on the Vintage Cannondale website at the guide to the bottom bracket codes.
