90 Klein Attitude Dolomite - I'm back into the Kleindom

I was out of the country 3 months when this Attitude popped up on FB back home. I had my dad go look at it and I purchased it without even seeing it myself lol.

I had one just like it 35 years ago, same size and everything. But this one has had a few late-90s modifications I'd like to reverse back to more or less OEM. Most irritating is the lack of a rear brake cable guide, which a prior owner must have sawed off to make room for hydraulic rim brakes. I will use a Surly cable hanger for now I guess, but it might be possible to fabricate a new oem-style tube cable guide. The bike also came with a Bullseye crankset and Chris King hubs.

I will have to respray the MC1 bar stem and the Bullseye crankset. I have the decals for the stem and crankset.

I've purchased some M732 brake shifters and calipers (even though I know these came with Dia Compes). Seat post is Rooks which is mid 90s I think. I have some M732 hubs as well, so I will be selling the Chris King hubs., XT thumbies and the Magura hydraulic brakes. I would remove and sell the Bullseye cranks to put on XT but that is an expensive process with hard to find parts, so the cranks stay on for now. I have some new period-looking gumwall tires of couse. Ordered a full set of XT skewers, including the XT seat tube quick-release.

The paint is not bad overall, the paint on the fork is immaculate. There are scratches on the seat stays and a hack touch-up job back there. I will get paint mixed to respray the bars and blend in the pink at the back. Then a lot of fine grit sanding and 2K clear.
