9 Speed Crank Set on a 7 Speed front Derailleur.

I really wouldn't worry. I run a 563 crank and rings in a 10 speed setup. Likewise I run 7 speed derailleurs with 9 and 10 speed chain.
It helps if there is no front indexing.
