Looking very nice. Of course Modolo made many of the brake sets for Mavic, so only reason for changing would be for the silver finish and historic authenticity/aesthetic reasons. I have a Joe Waugh 753 running a full Mavic SSC Groupset and I rate it very highly, especially the Mavic bottom bracket which to my mind is as close to near frictionless, and then there's the Simplex/Mavic down tube gear shifters which apparently many professionals preferred too vs Campagnolo.

I bought a Gitane Olympic with what I think maybe very early Mavic calipers and levers .. engraved both Mavic and Modolo..

Got the Mavic cranks on my Raleigh SBDU 753 Dynaflite, I believe they are re badged SR Royal.. not sure who made the rings though..
