80's Colnago Master before & after!

Please have a look at my frame.
I will be collecting it from the refinishers tomorrow, this time its blue and a bit less chrome but I'm told it looks stunning.You should be able to visit this site tomorrow for the latest images.
I am collecting retro parts for it and intend to run on tubs with Mavic and Campy groupset.
Please let me have your thoughts so far.

Colnago - brought back from the dead

I had the frame given to me by a Colnago nut!
He said to me at a Christmas do, "Do you want a frame?"
"What is it?" Was my reply.
"A Colnago", said he.
"When do I call round?" Said I.
Bob, my mate said, "Get yourself round to mine before Christmas and you can get it off to the refinishers in the New Year". Well there we are!

Looks very well restored - have fun with it.

In the first pics the thing looks rather sorry for itself but after the repaint I'm sure it will look the part again!! I don't see why Shimano would be so much trickier than Mavic as they're not Italian either.. I don't have a problem with mixing parts from different countries.
