Hi All.
Bit of a Redline nut here. First real BMX was a 79-80 MXII. Got out of it around 84-5 and about 3 years ago got back into it. Found out out about this on FB and it was on ebay. Wasn't selling so called the seller and deal stuck. Taken some time to get over to the UK but finally got here.
Around 30 of the first prolines were made with no gusset we know now. Some cracked and were either sent back to Redline or had homemade repairs done. This one had a odd gusset welded in and Chip at C4Labs took it out and cleaned it up then powder coated it white. They were white only originally but painted. 1 of 8 known to Redline collectors. Made at Chatsworth and serial number 06598. Plans are to build it with parts used at the time.
