7 speed freewheel with 126mm rear spacing

Can anyone advise if a 7 speed Regina Extra freewheel will work with on a Campag Super Record hub 126mm across the lock nuts? It will be used with a 1983 Super Record rear mech, all fitted to an Alan Super Record frame.

Would that set up have been available pre 1985, or should I really be looking at 6 speed for that era?

Shouldn't be a problem, I fitted a 7 speed to my Alan which is on Mavic 500 hubs (not a 500 hub in this picture)

From memory we had two 7 speed choices circa 1978 for 126mm OLD.........the Suntour Ultra 7 or the regina 7 speed, the Ultra used it's own special chain.
