7 speed Freehub replacement.

I have a worn 7 speed freehub, which has play.

Is there a modern 7 speed alternative I can use to replace the Freehub and avoid rebuilding, as well as allowing a late 11-28 hyper glide 7 speed cassette to be fitted? Hubs are Exage, circa 1990/1. Cassette also pictured, whereby smallest sprocket locks the cassette.

I simply want to bolt on a new Freehub and fit a later 7 speed CS HG41 11-28 cassette.

Easiest now is to buy an old hub, SJS don't seem to stock them any more. There are Chinese replacements on eBay, not tried them yet.

Hamster, not sure what I am looking for in terms of old hubs. The model fitted doesn’t accept an 11 sprocket. What alternatives do I have and what should I be looking for ?

If you don't want to rebuild the wheelwith a more modern (7-8-9) hub (and use a spacer) then you should look for a used 7 speed shimano hub of a close quality level, preferably from the same model year.
- there a very good chance the freehub body will be exchangeable.

To tell the truth i might have one, I'll look later.
