Yes, that is true, but then again I find the chainset the most troubling part of Mr Panda's design - and in particular it's the silver crank arms that look out of place. So it isn't just colour that has changed. I think that bulbous shape for the cranks is probably predicated on fat modern aluminium downtubes, so maybe it looks wrong to me when set against a classic slim steel down tube.
