I’ve recently accidently (damn you drunken eBaying…) upgraded frames, and, as the missus had patiently explained that she’d chemical castrate me if the postman delivered anything else that smelt of GT85 and sweat, I’m going to have to shift the redundant frame and pray that she doesn’t notice…
This is a 2004 Lemond Maillot Jaune, it’s one of the ‘spine’ bikes. A lovely Reynolds 853 Pro and OCLV 120 Carbon Fibre mix, so you get the beautiful zingy ride of quality steel with the needless addition of some carbon for marketing purposes. Nah, it’s a great bike, rides beautifully and it’s very comfy.
Sizes. Top tube is 55cm. Seat tube is 53.5 CTT. That should cover it. PM me if you need any more measuring!
Obviously this frame has been ridden, and there are some patches of cable rub, but there are no dents or dings and it is in good condition. There’s some marks to the lacquer on the carbon seat tube where the front mech band sits, and the usual paint chips around the dropouts – the worst is on the forks – as pictured – but could easily be touched up, or just ignored…
I’m including a 250mm Thompson seatpost in black to fit. It’s in very good condition, the only marks are some small patches on the rear of the post, otherwise it’s immaculate, also included is a Cane Creek S6 aheadset with plenty of life remaining.
£299 including UK postage, PP gift, unless you want to pay the PP fees.
