Pics, finally ...

It's more or less NOS as far as I can see. Only 185mm from the bottom of the cradle to the min insertion line, so possibly too short?

Overall length is 285mm, it's the max extension which is 185mm. Not everyone needs a 400mm post for an mtb after all.

It's certainly sturdy enough for mtb use, so if it's long enough then it'll do the job.
