Dirt Disciple
I bought this yesterday

It has been used very little and was in good condition (before I started pedalling)... It lasted about 1 hour, before the freewheel went out on me. Cant really compare that "quality" to the old hope bigUns on my 1999 Sintesi Bazooka :p (lasted since 1999 and 0 problems!).

The good: the bike is smooth as butter compared to the 1999 bazooka (even though the bazooka has had different front forks and I upgraded the rear shock). This new(er) bike just eats up the terrain and it gains speed in a way I would never think was possible. (remember my previous bike was 1999').

I took it up the mountain the same night I bought it

There are some comparison shots of the Supreme 2009 vs the Bazooka 1999 on page 3 of my sintesi bazooka thread

I called a local bike shop and they told me that I shouldnt try to fix this my self, I have have never done such a thing before.

However, I'm too impatient to wait... So I removed the part and it was VERY easy! Figured out what had been causing my non-traction problem.
I have read about many people who have problems with the springs or the hooks on the freewheel, but my hub had actually broke in half! Must some Viking ancestry in my legs!

All the parts laid out

The bearing sits in the hub, so no work on the bearing. Most of the time was adjusting preload before attaching the wheel. Took some trial runs to dial it in.
