Sorted 20.5" xl team marin frame 92 to 94

Roughly those years yes. Certainly nothing newer. But might be tempted by older....Im after a tange prestige / super / ultra lite frame so Team or Team issue would be fine.....as its exactly the same frame.

Below that are just plain cr-mo.

My ideal would be the 92 Team with the ditched downtube.

Size 20.5" (marin sizing which is c to c)....so 21.5" c to t. These have a 180mm headtube.

Not interested in ti.

Annoyingly, smaller ones turn up all the time.....in fact i bought a 92 team for a couple of hundred .... just to see if i could ride a 19"...... i can't.

There's a lovely 17.5" for sale atm......bloody lanky parents!

No, sadly thats a 19". Punchy price too imho!

Marin measures from the center of the head tube to center of the seat tube along the plane (parallel to) of the top tube?

No . C to c on the seat tube. Not c to t.

Its why lots of their bikes get marked up for sale as a size larger than they really are.

For example a catalogue large 19" marin, is 19" c to c on the seat tube...making it 20.5" ish to the top of the seat tube..

An XL marin is 20.5" c to c and 22" to the top of the seat tube.

The easiest way is to get the head tube size....19" large is 150mm ......20.5" xl is 180mm.
