Time to move on my Zolatone Team Marin frame and forks. Both 19" ctt, 17.5" ctc
I had a 1990 Team Marin BITD and I thought I might build up another but time gets away from me. I found these 2 examples, a 1990 and a 1991, a few years ago. The frames both could do with a respray as the paint is very chipped and scratched but they are solid. Decals are peeling, but replacements are available through Gil. I tried in vain to see if I could find the Zolatone 2000 paint but alas, to no avail.
I have had the forks, stem and bars professionally resprayed in the hot pink that they originally came in, so they are basically immaculate apart from a few very minor storage marks on the bars, which won't be seen when built up anyway. I haven't taken the XT headset bearing cups off the 1990 version, not that I can't, I just haven't got round to it. BB, canti and mech threads are fine on both frames.
These are very nice Tange Prestige framesets and quite hard to find.
