I posted this frame on the discussion board a while back. I finally got it all put together and took it for a ride. I'll take some close up pictures later.

Re:

Hi... I've got a '99 Eldridge Grade (Lime). Using the original IRC MYTHOS (with slick at the back).

Those tyres look great on the bike - what Maxxis are they?

crossmark on the rear and ardent on the front. It's a great tire setup for where I live. It's mostly hard pack with some loose stuff and rocky areas here and there.

Re:

Thanks for the advice... I'll give it a go! That's a great looking bike you have there.

I live on the chalky South Downs so it's similar terrain.

It's hard to believe that it was 5 years ago that I got this bike put together and on the trail. It has evolved over the years. Here are some updates. My most recent updates are the XTR shifters and front derailleur.

Very nice! What fork are you running on it?
That is a 2004 Rockshox SID Race that I got a good deal on from ebay. It needed a total strip down and rebuild. The SID decal on the right lower was torn up and missing the "S" in SID and I haven't been able to find that version of the SID decals. I'm running an Avid BB7 brake on the front so I just replaced the SID decal with the Avid decal that came with my brake.

Sounds like a nice match to the frame. Do you know what would have been OEM on it?

I'd really like a 1997 Team Marin one day (the super posh version of my humble '97 Hawk Hill).
