1998 Rockshox Judy XC spring color questions.

May I enlist the help of the Rockshox gurus on a couple of spring color questions? I've started my rebuild of a spare 1998 Judy XC 1 1/8 threadless. It contained red springs. If memory serves, the colors correlate to the intended rider weight range.

What range does red correlate to? What color are firm springs? What color are extra firm spring? Does anybody know the complete range by spring color?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Assuming they are a two part spring then they are the type 3 spring setup (or typeIII naming)
I listed them all in a post sometime ago, I don't think I've put the info in the wiki yet though.
Do a search as I'm on my phone so much harder for me to do it.
The archive has the catalogue and docs that should show the the rate to weight chart.

They came with red fitted as standard, and usually had a set of 'soft' yellow springs in the box. Black are the 'firmest' (180lb +), and there were also 'extra soft' which I believe were white?

Kronos do 'extra firm' springs for 190lb + and are a more or less constant feature on eBay.
