1998 Rigid Stumpjumper

Eventually found the reference to images. Double Dutch to me.
I have images on the Stump and my other bikes on my computer.

Found the original saddle which I took off a couple of years ago.
It looked severe but was surprisingly comfortable. There's a two inch split up the middle and there are splits in the black plastic on the RHS. Specialized logo underneath with "Total Flex Control" and TFC and Revo in yellow plastic at the back end of the rails. It could be used occasionally but really needs to be recovered which is probably not worth it.

Making progress.
Just bought a NOS Deore XT chainset 175mm 22/32/44 square taper 8 sp model FC-M7394.
Although not what was on originally it looks good and is 1998 vintage the year of my Stumpy.
If I hadn't got it I would have gone with the Spa Cycles XD-2 with custom TA silver retro chainrings 24/34/44 which at £130 is a good deal IMHO.
They market this as a touring triple.
Middleburn didn't feature. The stuff is lovely but it's difficult to throw your money at them when you simply can't find out about the product.
Even if I had been able to find a supplier it would have cost twice as much as the Deore XT vintage chainset.
I think Middleburn works if you want to buy the various bits separately from the internet and assemble them yourself which I didn't.
