1997 kona ku unfortunately ruined

Re:

Oh dear, that is tragic.

This is only the 4th example of an Enigma built 1997 Ku that I have on record.

Looks like a 20" to me.

I want to cry...

The original finish was banana blue and banana yellow (weird names) but the bike was completed brushed to bare aluminum and finished with clear enamel coats of finish.

Just try to imagine these two colours on a Ku frame - yes those are real blue bananas.

I am now wondering if the colour of my 1998 Ku is the "Banana Yellow" that has been referred to.

When I wrote to Kona and asked them (among other things) what the colour is called, they were a bit off the mark with their answer.

I realise that it is only making things worse with regards to the Ku on Craigslist, but here is a tiny area of my Ku showing what I assume could be called Banana Yellow.
