Picked this up off the bay last week. Took a punt !

Spent morning stripping bike. Bar Bb putting up a fight no issues. Seatpost is wrong size(hence on eBay pics it was sitting all the way in.

Size is 17”

Hopefully have some Xtr goodies on way next week to start me off.

Looking for dark grey project 2 180mm steerer or thereabouts if anyone has one for sale ? Oh and matching stem please

Ah, the stem if i have a spare one is the quill version in the darker grey, that looks almost silver.

My local motor factors came up trumps again. Got fairly close color match. I prefer to keep original paint. Only original once

Fork and Sestpost arrived. Finished touching up the paint on frame(it’s no professional job) but it’s fine for me
