1997 Kona Explosif Frame Gold - Lost in post with My Hermes.

The seller appears to sell a massive amount if very different items. Not saying that’s dodgy but lots of it is new and so varied in what it is. Maybe it’s worth looking into if those items came from the same place. Or maybe he’s bought it in good faith. Who knows but I’d be Doing some digging.

It will probably be gone soon at that price. Very hard to prove its the same frame though, even with same marks.

Not when its bleedin' obvious it is the same frame

You can just tell by the way the frame is presented that he knows, either he is the driver or his mate is.

If it keeps getting all this attention he will probably pull the auction and the frame will disappear.

Re:

It has gone from lost in the post to for sale on Ebay. Suspicious to say the least. I'd be tempted to contact the local police and give them the facts and see if they want to investigate on the basis of selling stolen goods?

Knowing and proving are completely different as far as the law is concerned, not saying its impossible, just very hard.

Police won’t care unless you can prove wrong doing on his part.

He’s got another frame for sale too that looks like it’s just been unpackaged.

Maybe he buys lost items at auction or maybe he’s dodgy or his mate is.

Yes, this would be a good course of action, should at least try to get a crime reference number. Though officially the item is classed as lost, so wont be able to open a stolen case on that i doubt, but should at least present all the facts so they can decide what action to take.
