I don't think it will surface unless it goes on the usual sales and auction sites so can we all keep an eye out for it please. I've been checking Ebay and Shpock every morning whilst drinking my coffee. Iv'e found out that apparently My Hermes bundle all of their 'Lost Parcels' up together and send them off to auction houses. This may not be true however as I found it on the internet somewhere.

I'm not expecting to see the frame again, shame.

Absolutely happy to keep an eye out for this :)

Out of interest do you have any indication on the tracking where the tracking may have gone cold? Might help localise the search...

It went from my house in Doncaster to the local deport in Sheffield:

My Hermes
Unit A
Vector
31 Waleswood Way
Sheffield
South Yorkshire
S26 5NU

Google Maps: https://www.google.com/maps/place/Wales ... -1.2966661

i would also look at legal action, as a small claims court is I think about £80 fee. Nothing shifts a firm like legal action.

Iv'e been out of work since last January and I'm selling the Retro stuff to keep me going. I can't afford £80 hehe

Re:

The Sheffield depot thing is VERY interesting...

I bought a iPhone a couple of weeks back to send over to my parents, to make FaceTime calls easier during lockdown (another Ebay purchase). It also was posted with Hermes by the seller and vanished...at the same depot

I guess it's worth checking local ads in the Sheffield and surrounding area in this case, and I will take the time to have a look myself. My advice would be to get this particular depot checked out if you can though.

Sounds like anything sent with My Herpes needs to have one of those little GPS tracking devises put in it so you can check on your phone. Friends construction business did this with their curb/front lawn signs as they kept losing them. Theft, client tosses it in their backyard, crabby neighbour, etc. Best investment they've made in a while. Tiny little thing and the battery lasts a year. Might be something that can be hidden in a tire, seat post, etc. and the recipient could mail it back in and included envelope.
And print out a 8x10" sign that says, " This parcel is being tracked 24/7 via GPS"

Excellent idea for the future, for us all can you provide a link to a suitable product please.

I'll ask him. From googling, seems like some of the single units are distance limited or require subscription so may not be very cost effective for individuals.
Maybe a cheap pay as you go cell phone with one of those tracking apps parents use to keep tabs on their kids would be an option. At least if it's pay as you go, you could choose a smaller amount to load it with and only when needed. Dunno if that work.

Re: Explosif frame

Just seen a very similar frame on evilbay for £200. Location in Nottingham. Item number is 274399930086. Take a look , you never know.

Re:

I just listed that in the marketplace watch. Then remembered about this thread. Thought I’d drop in and mention it too.
